Consumer protection program in tourism
The Conscious Consumers' Association (TVE), launched a consumer protection program in tourism, which aims to increase awareness of tourists and business – announced by Haraszti Anikó program leader.
The Ministry of Local Government Tourism’s Secretary of State department tenders an application strengthening the representation of consumer interests for social care organizations, which was won by the Association of Conscious Consumers. The program has three components: the association should launch a Web site and operate it at least for two years at www.tudatosutazo.hu and should published the Conscious Travelers’s Guide in half a million copies, as well as taking trainings in fifteen locations of the country for tourism operators – reports Origo.
