Food safety is important for every second Hungarian in deciding where to do their shopping, informs a Nielsen survey. Six out of ten Hungarians think the products they buy in their regular shop are safe. 50 percent said they were willing to pay more for safe food products (the international average is 64 percent) and 58 percent consider Hungarian made products to be safer.
