A promotional campaign is launched to promote rabbit meat
The campaign to stimulate the consumption of rabbit meat organized by the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), the Agrarian Marketing Center (AMC) and the Rabbit Inter-Trade Organization and Product Council was launched with a spectacle-making event. The promotion organized for the third year aims at increasing the current consumption of 1-2 percent domestic rabbit meat, and that this protein-rich meat type should be part of everyday eating.
In 2017, the ministry, the Rabbit Product Council and the Agrarian Marketing Center started to promote rabbit meat consumption jointly. Today, all major supermarket chains offer rabbit meat that is rich in nutrients and protein and becoming more and more popular among domestic consumers thanks to the positive effects of previous campaigns.
