Employment Service: the number of jobseekers drop annually in July
The number of jobseekers declined by 3.7 percent in July compared to the same period of the previous year, and by 0.2 percent, compared to June. At the end of July, 247,800 jobseekers were registered by the National Employment Service (NFSZ).
The NFSZ said on its website that in July, the proportion of registered jobseekers was 5.3 percent of the economically active population and 3.7 percent of the working-age population. The lowest value remained in Győr-Moson-Sopron county. (MTI)
