According to data from the Consumer Scan of GfK Hungária for 2006, 40 per cent of Hungarian households bought toothbrushes in 2006. The product is purchased more frequently in large cities. .Households with higher than average income are more frequent buyers. Average Hungarian households purchase toothbrushes twice a year for HUF 1052. 81 per cent of households bought toothpaste in 2006. Average households purchased toothpaste on 5,5 occasions last year for a total sum of HUF 2229.
