The development of vegetable and fruit growing is an important task – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday in Bősárkány, Győr-Moson-Sopron County.

Nagy Istvén highlighted that the output of fruit production at current prices was 89 billion forints last year, dropping by 6.6 percent in one year, but still 31 percent higher than in 2010, and its volume increased by 16.6 percent. The prices of fruits were down by 3.9 percent last year and their volume dropped by 2.8 percent. (MTI)
