FM: the School Fruit and Vegetable Program continues
The School Fruit and Vegetable Program continues this year to provide healthy fresh fruits and vegetables to the schoolchildren in the school year – the Minister of Agriculture told M1 news channel.
Fazekas Sándor recalled that the program began in 2010 at the same time as the introduction of daily physical education classes. More than half a million children get fresh vegetables and fruits, apples, pears, plums, tomatoes, peppers, carrots and fruit juices within the program. (MTI)
