FM: the campaign to promote rabbit meat is effective
The campaign that aims to promote the consumption of rabbit meat is effective. More and more people are looking for the products in the stores – Nagy István, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture told M1 news channel.
The Minister of State underlined that rabbit meat is healthy and can be made cheaply.
Nagy István pointed out that rabbit farming also has economic benefits; in Hungary, 4.5 million rabbits are sold per year; the aim of the Rabbit Interprofessional Organization and Product Board is to increase this amount to 7 million. To achieve this goal, domestic consumption should be strengthened. (MTI)
