FM: The ornamental plant sector’s turnover exceeds 120 billion HUF annually

The ornamental plant sector’s revenue exceeds 120 billion forints annually and provides the livelihood of almost 25 thousand families – Nagy István, the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday at the 31st Flora Flower Festival, in Kecel.

According to the ministry’s statement published on Friday, the Minister of State underlined that a large number of people are living among urbanized conditions, therefore landscaped green surfaces are appreciated and the ornamental plants play prominent role in providing a more livable environment.
