Fizetések.hu: Diploma is worth twice as much as high school degree
Employees with high school degree earn half the amount of what employees with a university degree make 160 thousand HUF versus 325 300 HUF – the online survey of Fizetések.hu, operated by the Workania job portal, shows.
According to the survey, a college degree is worth 13 percent less on the labor market than a university degree: the average difference between the two is 282 700 HUF.
Primary school education brings about the lowest income: 113,000 HUF, in fact. In 2011, the salary of workers with such a certificate saw a decrease of an average 11 percent – MTI reports.
