Following the amendment of the relevant legislation, the provision of the related conditions, and the end of the first wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, in the summer of 2020, mandatory periodic technical inspections of plant protection machines in use began in Hungary.
Producers who own machines must take their plant protection machines older than 5 years for inspection every 3 years to one of the inspection stations authorized to carry out the activity.
Considering that the first 3-year cycle has passed since the introduction of the system, Nébih hereby warns the affected farmers and service providers to take their plant protection machines older than 5 years for inspection again.
The review is important so that the technical condition of the machines will continue to be adequate, which is one of the basic conditions of efficient farming, and that their law-abiding behavior will also be realized in the future.
