Auchan is having a festival
During the Whitsun weekend, Auchan will set up shop for the Jazzy Festival, and in the summer for EFOTT. In the former, it will be present with a wine stand in addition to cheese and tapas dishes, and in the latter as the official shop of the festival. According to Auchan’s experts, branch offices always require a lot of attention, since the offer must be designed in a completely different way than in stores selling 40,000 different products.
Auchan’s experts say that when expanding abroad, you should always focus on a narrower circle of customers and their special needs. Not only must the offer be well calibrated, but the pricing must also be adapted to the possibilities of the participants. It is necessary to adapt to the nature of the event, so that Auchan appears stylish, and at the same time pay attention to the fact that the products on offer can be easily consumed, taken away, or even enjoyed while walking, and for packaging, solutions that can be easily opened and preferably environmentally friendly or recyclable are preferred. In fact, it is also necessary to ensure that, for example, in addition to own brands, there are big brands on the stand that fit in and do not contradict the interests of those who support the festival, but it is also worth calculating with the expected weather. Therefore, a number of aspects must be met, which do not arise, or arise only to a lesser extent, in the case of department stores.
During the Whitsun weekend, the four-day Jazzy Festival welcomes lovers of sophisticated music and fine wines. Between May 17 and 20, there will be 22 concerts on 3 stages and 40 wineries will present themselves.
