The first climate positive gin in the world has hit the market: pea-based Nádar is marketed in 700ml bottles and its carbon footprint is 1.54kg CO2. Brooklyn company Air Co. distils vodka by utilising electricity to make ethanol from CO2. This means that the 40-percent alcohol vodka is made of water and CO2 only – it is hard to imagine anything greener than this!
