Sustainable holiday: The Body Shop gifts in fair trade packaging
The Body Shop’s mission is to build a greener, more conscious future for the beauty industry. The brand aims to become the first choice for those who value sustainability and community support in addition to quality, pampering products.
This year’s Christmas collection celebrates exactly this spirit. The packaging was made by the Get Paper community in Nepal, who are partners of The Body Shop Community Fair Trade. Most of the gift boxes and bags are made from recycled paper in the Get Paper Industry workshop, so each piece is both stylish and environmentally conscious. The collection not only brings joy, but also supports the operation of 7 schools and 250 scholarship students.
The brand celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, so it has been striving for half a century to source its products ethically, use natural ingredients and take social responsibility. These values have defined the company’s operations from the beginning and are still the cornerstones of the brand’s identity today.
With every purchase, The Body Shop offers the opportunity to create real value not only in products, but also in the lives of communities and the future of the planet. With this year’s collection, the brand offers a harmony of sustainability and joy for everyone who wants to make a conscious choice when buying Christmas gifts.
