Half a billion HUF worth tourism investment was handed over in Szendehely-Katalinpuszta
Half a billion HUF worth tourism investment – including a small garden railway, a lookout and accommodations – was handed over on Tuesday in the Szendehely-Katalinpuszta Tourist Center, Nógrád county, where an agreement was also signed about the promotion of the forest railways.
Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture at the ceremony stressed that the public and private forest holdings have undertaken social welfare, tourism developments in the past six years that has never seen before.
As a result, more and more people are visiting the forests in Hungary, while the nature trails, hiking trails, forest schools, forest railways, bike trails, lookouts provide more and better opportunities for recreation – he added. (MTI)
