Survey: we would need a shopping-free period
Compulsion to buy and overconsumption, or Black Friday is upon us again. But as a result of the promotions, in many cases, some of the products purchased unnecessarily end up on the online marketplaces afterwards. In connection with the period of peak overconsumption, Jófogás also prepared a survey this year, which was filled out by almost 1,500 users.
According to the results of a non-representative online survey by Jófogás, nearly half of the respondents felt that they needed a shopping-free period, and just as many think that the end-of-the-year sale and price-dumping is particularly harmful to their mental health.
Meanwhile, approximately a fifth of those who filled in said that they felt compelled to buy during the Black Friday season, and in fact, there are still those who spend more than HUF 1 million. And every tenth person who filled in already bought unnecessary products as a result of the promotions, and in the same proportion they were sold afterwards.
