Survey: Every second company plans to expand its workforce this year
Most employers are confident that their financial and economic situation will improve or at least stagnate this year. More or less optimistic expectations are prompting every second employer to increase their staff, for which they will optimize their established recruitment processes and tools in order to find the right candidates cost-effectively and as quickly as possible.
At the beginning of the year, Profession.hu prepared its analysis of companies’ prospects and plans for 2025 based on the responses of 440 Hungarian employers. The majority of employers expect their financial and economic situation to either improve (43%) or stagnate (34%), while every second company (48%) is planning to increase its staff.
“In September, Hungarian companies outlined an optimistic vision for the future; this has persisted ever since: they are rather optimistic about their prospects for this year, both in terms of the number of employees and their economic situation,”
– said Blanka Dencső, a market research and business development expert at Profession.hu.
“In January, four to five out of ten companies reported expected business and staff growth, while another three to four forecast no change, and only one forecasted a decrease for this year,”
– summarized the employer outlook for 2025 based on the survey, according to the Profession.hu expert.
