Survey: third of UK companies trading with the EU reported a drop in turnover
Nearly a third of British companies trading with the European Union reported about a drop in turnover or a total loss of EU turnover, according to a recent survey by one of the largest professional organizations in the UK corporate sector published on Monday.
Britain withdrew from the European Union on 31 January last year, and the 11-month transition period, which began after the end of British EU membership (Brexit), during which the rules for trade with the EU remained largely unchanged, ended on 31 December. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
