Four Paws action against Chinese duck meat
The Cheap Chinese duck meat is a threat to Hungarian farmers – states the Four Paws Foundation.
The European Union has recently decided to allow imports of Chinese duck into the Community Member States.
According to the Austrian animal rights organization the Chinese producers and slaughterhouses can transport a large amount of duck to Europe. According to Four Paws; there are serious animal welfare problems in China and even the Beijing duck is feeded by forced stuffing – reports Penzcentrum.hu.
