The pandemic situation brought a boom in the private accommodation in Siófok
While last year the number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation fell by 40 percent, due to closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, it increased by 18 percent in mostly seasonal private accommodation – Illés Virág, head of the Siófok Communication and Tourism Office, informed MTI.
According to the official summary, 909 thousand guest nights were spent in the city’s accommodation facilities in the first eleven months last year, which isa 15 percent decrease, compared to the same period of 2019. (MTI)
