Preparing for the Christmas peak season: DPD developments and expansions
DPD has prepared for the festive peak with comprehensive developments this year to ensure fast and reliable delivery even during the busiest time of the year.
Increasing capacity and modernized operations
The company opened new depots in Kaposvár and Vecsés, while expanding the area of the depots in Tatabánya and Szeged to handle the increased number of packages as efficiently as possible. Major developments were also carried out in two depots in Budapest in order to speed up returns and package handling. The tools supporting couriers were modernized, thus reducing the time spent on administrative tasks. In addition, new subcontractors joined the DPD team, who received thorough training, ensuring high-quality service.
Expansion of parcel machines and customer support
By the end of the year, 300 new DPD parcel machines will be available to customers, further increasing the speed and flexibility of the delivery process. Customer service staff has doubled, and digital solutions such as the myDPD package tracking app help improve customer convenience.
