Call to license holders of plant protection products that are not classified as plant protection products
Nébih calls the attention of license holders of plant protection products that are not classified as plant protection products to pay special attention to the timely initiation of “re-authorization” applications. It is of utmost importance that the parties concerned submit the documentation at least half a year before the expiration of the license.
From 1 January 2026, the documentation required for the “re-authorization” of plant protection products that are not classified as plant protection products* must be submitted to the licensing authority no later than 6 months before the expiration of the validity period specified in the license. Failure to do so will result in the product being “re-authorized” and the authority will revoke the product’s marketing and use license, while providing an appropriate grace period**. Nébih asks license holders to continuously monitor the validity period of their products.
