One million Internet users would purchase on Black Friday
According to a survey, the fifth of Internet users aged 18-59 (about a million people) are planning to purchase during the “Black Friday” promotions.
The “Black Friday” is the Friday after Thanksgiving for almost fifty years – this year it is 27 November. In the United States, the “Black Friday” is traditionally the start of the Christmas shopping season, when special discounts are offered to the customers.
According to the joint research of the Media Markt and the NRC Marketing Research Company, the promotion is not unknown in Hungary, 72 percent of the 18-59-year-old Internet users have heard of it. 22 percent of the age group also plan to buy something on this day. According to the survey men with higher education from mainly the 18-39 age group are interested in the promotion mainly from Budapest, Central and Eastern Hungary. (MTI)
