Hungarian online shops are expanding, but only in Hungary

An e-commerce survey by Growww Digital, Humanize Studio and Kosárérték has found: last year Hungarian e-commerce performed well if compared with the regional average, but the proportion of exporting online shops is still worryingly low at 32%.
László Szabó, managing partner of Growww Digital:
“Many of the Hungarian e-commerce businesses participating in the survey would be able to export, but Hungarian firms are less export-oriented than their competitors in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Without international markets, Hungarian e-commerce companies will hardly be able to compete with stronger foreign competitors, who are present in many countries.” //
