Protein intake: underrated plant sources in the Hungarian diet
According to a nationwide survey commissioned by Danone Magyarország, half of adults are unsure whether they consume enough protein, while plant-based protein sources continue to be less important in public thinking.

Only 4% of people know how much protein they would need daily based on their individual lifestyle

From the different plant-based protein sources legumes are the most common in the Hungarian diet and they are typically consumed 1-2 times a week. 44% rarely or never consume oilseeds, but 36% eat them on a weekly basis. 75% almost never drink plant-based milk substitutes.
