Czech retail increased by 7.4 percent in February
In February, retail sales in the Czech Republic rose 7.4 percent year-over-year – the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague on Tuesday. In January, that figure was five percent.
This February had one day more, compared to last year. Adjusted for calendar effects, annual growth was thus 3.9 percent. On a monthly basis, February traffic stagnated, compared to January.
In February, food sales rose 5.3 percent year-over-year and the sales of manufactured goods by 10.5 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
