Euro area inflation accelerated in February
In February, the pace of the rise in consumer prices in the euro area accelerated, but only slightly, below the European Central Bank’s 2 percent target.
According to the preliminary data provided by the European Union Statistical Office (Eurostat) on Friday, consumer prices increased by 1.5 percent in February, in line with the analyst expectations, after the 1.4 percent growth in January. (MTI)
