Retail sales decreased by 1.4 percent in February
The volume of retail sales in February 2013 fell by 1.4 percent, compared to the same period of last year, which was basically infuleced by the 2.6 percent decline of the food, beverages and food retailing and by the 4.0 percent decline of fuel-retailing – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Thursday.
The decrease in turnover was significantly lower, compared to the previous month, especially in case of non-food products, which sales volume declined from the 3.0 percent of January to 0.3 percent. Fuel sales decreased significant, the sales of foodstuffs accelerated modestly calendar data adjusted. (MTI)
