Fazekas: the OMÉK presents the world-class production of Hungary
Hungary is now able to produce world-class GMO-free agricultural products. The 78th National Agricultural and Food Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK) opens in two weeks in Budapest showcases this supply – the Minister of Agriculture said at the program heralding press conference in the Vajdahunyad Castle on Wednesday.
Fazekas Sándor said that the Hungarian agriculture has been expanding in recent years, its output excessed 2619 billion HUF in 2016, while agricultural exports rose by 37.5 percent in six years, and the foreign trade surplus rose by 34.9 percent. (MTI)
