FAO: World food prices fell in May for the second month in a row

Global food prices continue to fall
According to data released by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on Friday, the overall price index was 157.4 points in May, 0.9 percent lower than in April, when a 0.8 percent decline was recorded. Year-on-year, food prices were 22.8 percent higher in May this year. (MTI)
