Variety trial: the best varieties received awards

The winter wheat, winter rapeseed and corn varieties that performed most successfully in the GOSZ-VSZT-NAK post-registration variety trials received awards at the AGROmashEXPO and Agricultural Machinery Show in Budapest!

The main goal of the winter wheat, corn and rapeseed post-registration variety trials, organized last year by the National Association of Grain Growers (GOSZ), the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), and the Seed Association Interprofessional Organization and Product Council (VSZT), is to provide producers with objective information about the individual varieties, thus helping them choose varieties. The top three winners of each maturity group of all three plant species were awarded at the event, and the variety owners participating in the trial received certificates.

GOSZ-VSZT’s national variety trials will continue in 2026

Last fall, winter wheat and winter rapeseed variety trials began, the results of which are expected in the summer. This spring, the 20th national corn post-registration variety trial will begin.
