Magazine: A hurtful loss
Our beloved colleague and MVI member László Jakabffy died in December 2017, after a brief fight with a serious illness. Mr Jakabffy was one of the most colourful figures in Hungary’s restaurant world. He was enthusiastic about his work and taught the profession to many famous chefs. He worked hard in the ranks of many trade organisations too. As a consultant no matter who he worked with, the result was high-quality gastronomy and professional business activity. László Jakabffy always wanted to win, he was a tough boss but treated workers as family members. He loved life and liked guests. We are going to miss him dearly!. //
