Fair Trade for the poorer countries
More and more companies are joining to the initiative of Fair Trade, committing that during the manufacture of their products, do not cause environmental damage and will not explore local workers, especially children and women.
The main objective of the Fair Trade movement, is to provide producers a fair price and to secure their income for their products and to defend the suppliers of the poor countries with little power, from the big western manufacturing companies.
The materials, although will cost more, but according to the Fair Trade-ers, the farmers can rotate the benefit back to the community – reports Origo.
