Thousand billion euros turnover with Visa cards

According to the today published results of Visa Europe; Visa card spending increased by 16 percent annually in Europe, that means a total of more than 1,000 billion euros turnover in 2010.

The debit cards were dominating in the buying habits of the consumers, as more than 70 percent the Visa card spending are through debit card. This means an annual 20 percent growth in the area of spending, and 19 percent increase in the number of transactions – reports Penzcentrum.hu
