Grain growers welcome the snow in Transdanubia – agrarszektor.hu wrote. The mild winter so far has not been favorable, but so far it has not caused irreversible damage to fruit crops either.
Autumn cereal plants need a cooling period of two to three weeks during their development in order for the plants to come to rest, otherwise they will be like grass, they will grow nicely, but they will not bear fruit – Petőházi Tamás told InfoRádió, President of the National Association of Cereal Growers.
