Retail chains are trying to reduce their costs
Tesco reported to the portal that the decreasing energy consumption can also curb the rate of price increases by minimizing operating costs, which is crucial from the point of view of customers. The continuous rise in energy prices contributes to the increase in the price of products throughout the supply chain.
The chain lowers the temperature of the sales area during the heating period, making sure that the comfort of our employees working in the stores does not change. Unused refrigerators are turned off, we pay extra attention to the lockability of the doors of the refrigerators in the sales area, they are replaced as necessary, among their additional measures is to turn off the lighting in the sales area, in the parking lot, along with the logos and totems on the roof, and before the arrival of customers the brightness of the lighting in the sales area is also reduced, and additional measures are being considered.
