This is what happens when vitamins are mixed with coffee
We have enjoyed the pleasure of drinking coffee for centuries and there are many of us who cannot imagine the morning without sipping a hot black one. But what happens if we spice up our usual morning drink with a good dose of B vitamins?
Coffee also contains caffeine – which itself is a source of alertness and concentration, and vitamins support the immune system and metabolism. With vitamins added to coffee (and with or without sugar), we almost get a drink that we call – energy drink.
On December 21, the day of the winter solstice, just when we are preparing for the longest night around the world, i.e. when we need wakefulness and energy the most – we celebrate World Energy Drinks Day. The world day of drinks that, in addition to providing energy and alertness accompanied by many vitamins, also have many positive physiological effects.
For example, a 2020 study by the University of Cambridge, which highlighted that energy drink consumption significantly improves brain performance. Participants experienced better concentration and increased attention, especially in problem solving and critical thinking.
