Another one!
A Gluttonous Thursday was organised for the fourth time by Magyar Turizmus Zrt. on 26. February. A total of 230 000 guests visited 1,300 restaurants on this day to eat out for half the normal price. Restaurants participating in the campaign were still full, though the 50 percent discount is no longer mandatory. Some of the participants in the campaign failed to deliver the quality normally offered, but chose instead to reduce it in order to maintain their usual price/value ratio. Seeing the success of Gluttonous Thursdays, we cannot help wondering if the way restaurants normally calculate their prices is the best way and if they really know what guests expect?
