EY: the installing of the billing softwares online can start
The online billing system in Hungary can start from July. However, the draft regulation is still not definitive, while invoicing programs have to be matched by more complex technical specifications than expected.
According to Molnár Péter, the senior manager of the EY, the businesses have to be prepared for immediate tax audits after the release of the new system. If they fail they can expect a fine of 500,000 HUF per bill.
