EY: the domestic acquisition market shows the growing foreign presence of Hungarian companies
The increase in the foreign transactions of domestic companies in 2021 was one of the novelties of the Hungarian acquisition market, according to a study evaluating corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
In an announcement sent to MTI on Tuesday, the international consulting firm wrote that in 2021, 132 transactions worth a total of 4.64 billion USD were made in Hungary. The number of transactions is up 25 percent, while their combined value is down 19 percent from 105 announcements totaling 5.69 billion USD in 2020. (MTI)
