EY: half of investors also considers environmental considerations
Nearly half, 49 percent, of investors already consider environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations in their financial investments – the EY auditor informed MTI on Tuesday of the latest research findings.
They highlighted that barely a third of investment management companies said they were only interested in making a profit.
Research shows that inappropriate treatment of employees and neglect of environmental protection are the most common exclusionary reasons when building an investment portfolio. (MTI)
