HITA has established the Exporter Award

The National Foreign Trade Office (HITA) has launched an application for those domestic micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, that have their own manufactured products and their export activities greatly contribute to the development of the Hungarian economy, their activities are exemplary for the domestic businesses operating in their sector.

With the Exporter of the Year Award the HITA aims to:
– Emphasize the importance of exports in the role of the Hungarian economy, and to strenghten its extent in the SME sector;
– Increase the number of conscious and innovative domestic SME exporters;
– Reward the most successful SME exporters;

The participation in the Exporter of the Year competition has a number of benefits for the applicants and winners:
– The winner will increase the recognition of its company on the domestic market.
– Provides increased media coverage for the applicants.
– The award strengthens foreign trade activities, and trust towards the company among potential partners, thereby contributing to further export success.
– The winners will be featured on the website of HITA and in its professional foreign language publications.
– The winners of each category will receive the right to use the Exporter of the Year 2012 trademark.
– HITA compiles an export incentive package for all applicants with partner search services and foreign markets program contents.
