0.2 percent annual average inflation is expected in 2015
Inflation can accelerate gradually in Hungary. On the basis of the new data – that consumer prices remained unchanged in August compared to the previous year – basic processes did not change, so the macro analysts of the Erste, Savings Bank and ING expect a 0.2 percent average inflation in 2015.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday that the average level of consumer prices remained unchanged in August, unchanged compared to the previous year, while compared with July prices decreased by 0.6 percent. The Ministry of National Economy (NGM) pointed out that the low inflation environment in August was beneficial for all actors in the economy. (MTI)
