Hungarians buy margarin for yearly HUF 20 billion
The market grow in value by 12, but decresed in volume by 2% between October 2007 – September 2008 – according to Nielsen research datas.
The price pro kilo increased by 20%,
the average price was HUF 553/kg, last year it was HUF 459, two years
before HUF 435. 2/3 of the margarin was sold in modern retail
chanels, 30% was sold in hipermarkets, 37% in supermarkets.
The privat label products have 28%
market share, 2% more as a year before.
