High competition for the “Winemaker of the year in Hungary” title
The Hungarian Wine Academy to hand over Hungary’s oldest and most prestigious wine professional recognition this year for the 25th time. Numerous winemakers, professionals, restaurant managers, sommeliers and chefs have sent their nomination.
The first round of this year's competition brought an unexpected turn. In recent years only one new winemaker’s name appeared among the candidates, but now we can welcome three such winemakers who did not participate in any competition recently.
The announcement of results combined with a press conference will take place on 4 December in the Budavári Fortuna restaurant.
