Wine Producer of the Year Gala Dinner

The Hungarian Wine Academy will organize the Wine Producer of the Year Gala Dinner again this year; this year Tamás Günzer is the celebrant.

Winner of the title “Wine Producer of the Year in Hungary 2023” by the Hungarian Wine Academy, the most prestigious domestic award that can be won by Hungarian winemakers.
The winner of the 2023 Wine Producer of the Year award is Tamás Günzer.
The Villány winemaker was nominated for the third time this year, and thus, after 24 years, a Villány winemaker won the award again. The wine-producing family grows grapes on 75 hectares, from which 5,000 hectoliters of wine are made annually. Theirs is a real family business, where everyone has found their ideal job: among the children, Gina deals with marketing, Roland is the head winemaker, and the mother, Mariann, supervises the accounting in addition to catering.
