Less than half of EU passengers are familiar with EU passenger rights
Less than half of EU passengers, 43 percent, know that the European Union (EU) regulates passengers’ rights, according to a European Commission survey released on Monday.
According to the survey, 32 percent of all respondents were aware that there is legislation in the EU on passenger rights when traveling by air, rail, coach, boat or ferry.
14 percent of respondents were aware of their rights to air travel, 8 percent to rail, 5 percent to long distance bus and 3 percent to boat or ferry travel. (MTI)
