European Commission: cosmetics lead the list of dangerous non-food products
According to the 2023 report of the EU rapid alert system for non-food products, cosmetics were the most common type of product posing a health risk, the European Commission announced on Thursday.
According to the announcement, the authorities of the 30 countries participating in the system – in addition to the EU member states Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway – announced 3,412 alerts and 4,287 follow-up measures.
