Corn imports can brake records in Europe
USDA analysts expect significant European maize imports this year, of which the US can only profit indirectly – agrarszektor.hu wrote. There is still a small amount of corn, wheat and barley in Europe.
The September analysis of USDA explains that all cereals used for animal feed (wheat, barley, oats, maize) produced less crops than average due to the drought affecting Europe. In addition, the maize’s production area has also declined. The Black Sea supply of wheat shrinks considerably this year. (agrarszektor.hu)
