Hungarian bank card acceptance is among the fastest developing in Europe
According to the latest data from Mastercard, the number of card payment terminals increased by 20 percent in Hungary in 2020. Mastercard launched its Doppio infrastructure development programme in the autumn of 2019, and more than 38,000 terminals were installed in shops as part of this by the end of 2020. Endre Eölyüs, country manager of Mastercard for Hungary and Slovenia told: they are glad to be partners with financial service providers and businesses in the digitalisation process. //
